Samantha Reeves

How did you get involved at SFA?

I joined the SFA Repertory Dance Company and a sorority my first semester.

What is your definition of leadership?

Setting a good example and being someone to look up to.

What is your most memorable experience at SFA?

Being an Orientation Leader!

What advice would you give to a student thinking about getting involved?

To take it slowly.  Don’t join every organization your first semester.  Join one or two and see if you can handle it before joining more.

How do you show The SFA Way?

The SFA Way is something I lived by even before it was created.  I have always lived by these root principles because they are things my mom instilled in me at a young age.

What is your favorite place on the SFA campus?

My favorite place on campus is the center of campus where Surfin’ Steve is located.

What is your favorite SFA tradition?

My favorite SFA tradition is the Stone Fort! I won’t go in until I graduate.

How does getting involved complement your studies?

I’m not sure if getting involved has “complemented my studies” per se, but I do believe getting involved has taught me time management and punctuality!
