This year SFA is going Hollywood! SFA Homecoming 2010’s theme is Lights, Camera, Axe Em’ and will feature a week filled with fun, friends and memories. “We wanted this year’s theme to reflect two things we all enjoy; a great movie and SFA.” said 2010 Homecoming Chair Blake Horn. Blake is the president of the Traditions Council and has been working since he took office preparing for this big event. “We really want to make sure every student, fan and alumni have a great time and get into the Lumberjack spirit he added.”
SFA Homecoming Week will kick-off Monday, October 25 with the Kick-Off Celebration. Student organizations will perform their team cheers, the SFA Spirit Teams will perform, the homecoming candidates will be announced and students can begin voting for homecoming elections. Throughout the week students will be able to get into the Homecoming Spirit by participating in our many service opportunities including a canned food drive, blood drive and United Way Chain Sale. “In addition to all of the fun events we are having we also know HC week is a great time for students to give back to their community.” said Traditions Council Vice-President Megan Reed.
